Amancio Peinado

A Life Dedicated to Tennis

Amancio Peinado has spent practically his entire life on a tennis court. He started playing at just 3 years old, and from an early age, tennis became much more than simply a sport. It became a way of life.

At the age of 8, he started competing, beginning a journey that would see him play hundreds of tournaments and compete at the highest level throughout his formative years. At 16, he finished the season ranked among the Top 100 players in Europe in the U16 category, after years of competition and facing some of the best young players in Europe.

But his education in tennis did not begin when he first picked up a racket. From a very young age, he grew up in the shadow of his father, Mariano Peinado, experiencing tennis from the inside and witnessing day after day countless training sessions, players and situations of all kinds. For years, he had the opportunity to observe closely how tennis is trained, how it is taught and, above all, how the game is understood beyond simply hitting a ball.

That experience shaped his own way of understanding the sport.

At 16, he began teaching tennis, and he has never stopped. What started as a natural continuation of everything he had experienced since childhood eventually became his profession and a true passion.

Today, at 34 years old and with 18 years of experience as a tennis coach, Amancio continues to share everything he has learned throughout more than three decades in the sport.

His journey combines something that cannot be learned through qualifications alone: having lived tennis from the inside since the age of 3, competing throughout his youth and spending the last 18 years teaching players of all ages and levels.

Because for Amancio, tennis is not something he simply learned.

It is something he grew up with, lived every day and has been teaching for the past 18 years.
